Karaoke: Singing Goodness of God

January 25, 2025 1 Comments

One of my hobby is singing karaoke.

Since I was at a young age up until now, this is just a sort of having fun and to avoid boredom. But do you know that there are a lot of benefits in singing?

First, it can improve our physical health. It improves breathing, posture and the tension in our muscle. It also helps with pain relief, regulate our blood pressure and increase oxygenation.

Second, it can improve our mood, will helps to reduce stress and of course singing will help you feel more confident and self assured. Weeh... di nga hahaha!!!

Below is my rendition of one of my favorite gospel song "Goodness of God", every time I sing or listen this gospel song makes my sadness go away, it gives me a sight of believing that sufferings will just go away and hope is always at the horizon waiting for the right time to come.

When we sung "Goodness of God" we realized that God is perfect good to humanity, always provides us with his kindness and unwavering love even though we do not deserve to be given by those things. God always reminding to His people and hind comfort that no matter what will happen, that no matter is the outcome, you can always ask His assistance and love and forgiveness.

Variegated African Violets - Cajun's Lil Oh Lah lah

January 25, 2025 0 Comments

This is one of my favorite Variegated African Violet, her name is Cajun's Lil Oh lahlah. a real sweetheart little plant that makes your day happy. We can describe her flowers as a two tone pink pansy-blue fantasy as well as variegated with medium green, pink and creamy leaves.

I had this  plant for over four years, I thought I will never see her blooms because it seems like a limbo of dying and rising thingy.

I bought this miniature variegated plant online, actually in Facebook page where Variegated African Violets  enthusiasts group together, it happens that I love African Violets but I cannot keep this plant alive. However, I did try anyhow to purchase and yes, it was really a struggle of making this plants alive.

Following instructions online of how to water, wicked, and everything  doesn't seem to work for me and so I did try my own method or my own way. At last, it did work in my part, and now I have plenty of them and it makes me a few bucks too, which is nice and a plus of growing variegated African Violets.

After of four years struggling with this plant, she showed me her flowers and wow, I was stunning so beautiful where her  pink variegation is really awesome and so pleasant to my eyes.

3*-

This picture shows after the flowers withered for three months. Even though without her flowers, the leaves itself catches our eyes, the pinkish-white-green variegation is absolutely beautiful.

The above pictures are the baby plants. They are some of the successful propagation I did way back last year of September.

What I really like about African Violet in general is they are like a symbol of devotion. In the beginning I was also wondering why I like the plant so much, I thought was, the plant itself when flowered are very appealing to my eyes, however as the years go by internet are there to research on and I was so astounded that  this plant is really symbolizes devotion, commitment and faithfulness.

In my own perspective why it's symbolizes as such, maybe it's the loving care, nurturing or taking care of these little houseplants requires dedication and patience. As what I said that, I had difficulty keeping this plant alive but I never gave up. So, this is what it means.

African violet in general is ideal for gift, an alive gift that keeps on growing because to propagate this plant is as easy as pie.

If you love plants and have a lot of patience and dedication, for sure you will love African Violet especially the variegated ones.

Long Distance Love Affair

You're in my thoughts and in my dreams
Beautiful smile that beams
Through the darkness as it seems
Sun shines above that gleams

Dear heart believe it's true
That someone fall for you
Love from a distance I know
Difficult to reach, makes me blue

Though we are far away
But our hearts beat in one  way
Direct to path, hope one day
Miracle will happen we will stay

You are my sun that shines
In this gloomy life confines
Giving me inspiration every times
My love for you is divine.

Hello world, I'm back to blogging. It's been a while since I had to stopped  blogging from personal reason and now I decided to go back to the things I loved which is writing anything that comes up in my mind.

This is my first try embedding videos from Facebook. Since I am not a tech savvy, I had a lot of difficulty making it. Everything is need patience hahaha. Of course I need to do some research on how to do it.

Totally different from YouTube. YouTube is easy to integrate because it is already added in the platform while Facebook is not but here I am I succeeded to add my Facebook reels here in my blog and I am so thrilled about it.

Yayyyyy!!!!

Forget who hurt you yesterday
But don't forget those who loves you today

Forget the past
That makes you cry

And focus on the present
That makes you smile

A Day At the Bora Park

December 14, 2022 0 Comments
Once upon at the Bora Park. What a memorable moment with my children. This video was taken when we went to Bora Park at Val-Cartier Village, Quebec. Watching this video again, I can see their happy faces with no worries at all when they were so young. They just enjoy every moment. Compared this time that they are growing up. They already feel sense of responsibility. However, their feelings as siblings are way too apart. I observes, they're life changed a lot. The siblings fight is normal but for them is just way too much. I just feel worried.
I know, that everything will be out of my control soon as they reach at certain age, however, I hope that they will take some of my advice as a mother who loved them so deeply. I always asked them to watch this video from time to time and the other videos when they were young, to remind them how precious each and every time as a family. Loving each otherand supporting each other is a wonderful feeling.

Hoya cv Viola

August 08, 2022 0 Comments

Hoya cv Viola is a trailing plant. It has fascinating lustrous leaves and produces sweet scented flowers. Hoya Viola is produced of combining two Hoyas such as; Hoya Deykeae and Hoya Vitelina.

Like other Hoyas, Hoya Viola blooms from spurs. I did not see the actual flowers yet however, soon. I just hope that Viola will like under my care. By the way, Hoya Viola is my newest Hoya plant.

According to my research, Viola loves bright but indirect light. At this time, I put her on direct grow light like other Hoyas I have in my collection. So far, the plant stayed with her original soil. I see that the soil has well draining mix in it thus I have to water her every three days and check often to make sure that she will not be dried for so long.

Hoya Viola may have yellowing leaves, like other Hoyas, yellowing leaves is a sign of too much water. If it happens try to change the soil or mix it with other medium such as; perlite, coco-husk, vermiculite etc. that can help so that the soil will not be compacted and will drain smoothly and dry quickly.

Even though, I just brought the plant a week ago, I already propagate, this is just to make sure in case something happen to the plant.

So far the cuttings are placed on the water, I will update soon as roots are started to come out.
